Wings Over the Rockies™ Air & Space Museum is looking for teen volunteers for the summer of 2026 at both the Lowry and Centennial locations!
Summer Teen Volunteers will participate in a six-week program, volunteering in STEM Education or Project Based roles. By signing up to volunteer teens are committing to volunteer a total of 32 hours or once per week for the entire six-week program.
STEM Education
- Ages: 14-17
- Teen volunteers will engage guests by running demonstrations, discovery science carts, facilitating open cockpit,s and operating the planetarium.
Project-Based
- Ages: 16-17
- Teen volunteers will take part in an important museum project! Options include cockpit imaging, tour development etc. Teens will learn organization and project management skills.
Perks of being a teen volunteer include free admission to both Wings Over the Rockies locations and a 25% discount at the museum store! Plus, develop skills in communication, education, teamwork and complete community service hours required for graduation, honor societies or other school programs.
The Summer 2026 application period is open February 17 – April 17.
How to Apply:
- Must be between the ages of 14 – 17
- Submit application HERE
- Acceptance letters will be emailed the week of April 28
- Submit required paperwork and signed parental consent form by June 4, 2026
- Attend mandatory training
- Meet time commitments
