Tennyson Street Fair Hosts FREE Family-Friendly Neighborhood Festival

July 8, 2026

The fourth annual Tennyson Street Fair returns July 17-18 with new programming, including a Wax Trax Records DJ pop-up, pickleball pop-up and pre-festival run club - all on Saturday. Last year, the festival introduced  Berkeley Beer Festival and Friday night programming, both of which are returning after a successful inaugural year. The two-day family-friendly neighborhood festival features 200+ Tennyson and other local businesses set up on the famed Tennyson Street, alongside food trucks, fitness and live music.

The star of the festival is the nearly 200 local makers at the farmers market-style experience, selling handcrafted jewelry, rugs, spices, art, candles, skincare and much more. In addition to the standout restaurants on Tennyson like Hops & Pie and Bakery Four, nearly 15 food trucks and pop-ups will be serving food, including Grammy’s Goodies and Maria Empanada.

All of the weekend’s festivities, except the ticketed beer festival, are free.

“Tennyson Street really comes alive in the summer, and you don't need to go far to find fun," says Ellie Hixenbaugh, event director at Team Player Productions  (TPP), which produces the event. "This neighborhood has always had its own heartbeat –  creative and community-driven – and this hometown block party turns that up to eleven, bringing together hundreds of local businesses in just a few blocks."
