Machu Picchu: Journey to the Lost City, a groundbreaking virtual reality expedition transporting guests to the heart of the Incan Empire, has arrived in Denver and is ready to bring Coloradans on the adventure of a lifetime.
Developed in collaboration with Virtual Worlds, a leading creative studio in immersive technologies and virtual reality experiences, Machu Picchu: Journey to the Lost City offers a rare opportunity to not only travel to one of the world ́s most iconic UNESCO Heritage Sites, but the opportunity to explore the lost city from within.
Following its success in Germany, Singapore, the U.K. and select U.S. cities, the exhibition invites guests into a visually spectacular reconstruction of the Peruvian Andes. Through large-scale free-roam VR and cinematic storytelling, guests will explore sacred temples, terraces and ancient pathways meticulously designed using drones and LiDAR scanning.
Guiding the journey is TERI, a witty robotic companion voiced by beloved Hollywood actor Terry Crews, adding a modern twist to the historical adventure. From soaring with condors high above the Andes to stepping inside an Incan home during a rare solar eclipse, the experience beautifully captures the scale, mystery, and spirit of a lost civilization.
